The Directors
In 2024, Don & Eileen Nickols stepped into the Directors’ role that Bill & Sue Stukenberg had faithfully filled for over 10 years. Don and Eileen have served in many different ministry capacities both locally and alongside missionaries on the field. They began ministering together in 1984 when Don moved to the area to serve on staff with a local outreach ministry where Eileen was already serving. They were married in May 1986 and had the joy of raising four sons who now each have a growing family of their own.
Over the many years, Don served as a full time Associate Pastor and Eileen on church support staff in various roles, one of which was in global missions. For 10 years, they led a ministry called “The Reach House” in Appleton and on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation in Wisconsin. This was a live-in, discipleship/missions focused training program for gap-year students that emphasized global missions. God has been faithful to provide them many opportunities through the years to taste the Savior's love and grace and to share Christ's heart with others both locally and around the world. They are excited to provide pastoral and practical care for all who call Servant Care International their home away from home.
Office Manager
Connie Humski has been a resident of the Fox Valley her whole life. She was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, and moved to Menasha, Wisconsin, in 1952. In 1993, Connie went to work for Bill Steinberg, the founder of Sonshine Ministries, managing customer care in his business. When Bill sold the business in 2000, Connie began working with Sonshine Ministries as Bill's personal assistant. In 2012, her role and title changed to office manager.
Connie has three children and seven grandchildren.
